I am a passionate Chinese language teacher and tutor with experience teaching beginner learners, including HSK 1 and HSK 2 students. I hold an HSK 4 Chinese Proficiency Certificate, a Local Chinese Teacher Training Certificate, and a Bachelor of Education (Honors) in Economics (Secondary) from the University of Rwanda – College of Education. I am also completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Rwanda, with graduation pending. I have experience teaching Chinese to learners from different backgrounds and helping students develop practical communication skills in Mandarin. My lessons focus on pronunciation and tones, vocabulary, basic grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I use interactive activities, dialogues, questions, and practical examples to make lessons engaging and learner-centered. I also have professional experience as a Chinese translator, which has strengthened my communication and cross-cultural skills. I am comfortable teaching in English and am interested in teaching both youth and adult learners. I look forward to helping students build confidence and enjoy learning Chinese.
