Northern VETS (Veterans Engagement, Tribute & Support) honours the service and sacrifices of veterans while strengthening their wellbeing through community engagement, recognition, and ongoing support. The program promotes respect, appreciation, inclusion, and meaningful assistance for veterans, serving members, and military families across Canada.  

Northern VETS works to strengthen connections between veterans and their communities by supporting programs that recognize military service, encourage participation, and improve overall wellbeing. The program helps ensure that veterans and their families remain valued and connected members of their communities.  

Program activities may include Remembrance Day ceremonies, veteran appreciation events, military family support initiatives, community outreach, mentorship, wellness activities, volunteer opportunities, recognition programs, historical education, and partnerships with veteran organizations.  

Northern VETS primarily supports veterans, serving military personnel, reservists, military families, cadets, veteran organizations, and local communities.  

Through donations and community partnerships, Northern VETS recognizes the lasting contributions of veterans, preserves their legacy, supports their continued wellbeing, and helps inspire future generations while strengthening communities across Canada.
