Northern LEAF (Local Environmental Action Fund) inspires communities to protect and improve the natural environment through local action, education, conservation, and volunteer participation. The program encourages environmental stewardship that benefits both current and future generations.  

Northern LEAF supports sustainable community initiatives that promote environmental awareness and encourage individuals, schools, organizations, and volunteers to work together in protecting natural resources. Through collaborative efforts, communities can create healthier and more resilient environments.  

Program activities may include tree planting, community cleanups, recycling drives, environmental awareness campaigns, park restoration projects, and community gardens. These initiatives encourage long-term environmental responsibility while strengthening local communities.  

Northern LEAF benefits entire communities, youth groups, schools, volunteers, and environmental organizations, bringing people together to create cleaner, greener, and more sustainable places to live.
