Northern CODE
Community Opportunities for Digital Education
Empowering communities through digital learning.
Northern CODE (Community Opportunities for Digital Education) empowers Canadians with the digital knowledge and technology skills needed to succeed in an increasingly connected world. The program promotes digital literacy, improves access to technology, and supports lifelong learning opportunities for individuals of all ages.
Northern CODE helps individuals build confidence in using technology by providing educational opportunities that improve digital literacy and encourage participation in today’s digital society. The program supports inclusive learning that enables people to access information, education, employment, and online services more effectively.
Program activities may include computer training, AI education, cybersecurity awareness, coding workshops, digital literacy classes, online safety education, and technology mentoring. These initiatives help participants develop practical technology skills for education, employment, and everyday life.
Northern CODE primarily supports students, job seekers, seniors, newcomers, educators, and community organizations, helping people develop the digital skills needed to participate confidently in a technology-driven world.
Through donations and community partnerships, Northern CODE helps improve digital inclusion, expands access to technology education, and equips Canadians with essential digital skills for learning, employment, communication, and active participation in modern society.
