I am a Mathematics and Education graduate with practical experience teaching primary, middle-school, and secondary students through one-to-one instruction. I enjoy making mathematics clear, practical, and engaging, helping students move from confusion to confidence. My teaching style is student-centered and focused on understanding rather than memorization. I use simple explanations, visual examples, real-life applications, questioning, guided practice, worksheets, activities, and games to encourage active participation. I adapt lessons to each learner’s level, pace, and learning needs. I have also developed an online mathematics course, gaining experience in structuring lessons, creating learning materials, and presenting mathematical concepts clearly for online learners. I am interested in teaching mathematics from primary through secondary levels, including arithmetic, fractions, ratios and proportions, algebra, geometry, and problem solving. I am willing to align my lessons with the applicable Canadian curriculum and bring my teaching approach into an engaging online environment.
