Build a powerful understanding of Chemistry through a course aligned with the British Columbia Chemistry 11 and Chemistry 12 curriculum. The program combines conceptual learning, quantitative problem solving, scientific inquiry, and real-world applications. In Chemistry 11, students develop their understanding of atomic structure, electron configuration, bonding, molecular geometry, organic chemistry, the mole, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, solubility, and solution chemistry. B.C. Curriculum Chemistry 12 develops more advanced skills through reaction kinetics, dynamic equilibrium, solubility equilibria, acids and bases, quantitative chemistry, oxidation-reduction, electrochemical cells, and electrolytic cells. B.C. Curriculum Students will benefit from: ✔ BC curriculum-focused teaching ✔ Clear explanations of difficult concepts ✔ Step-by-step calculations ✔ Graphs, data analysis, and scientific reasoning ✔ Practical and real-world chemistry applications ✔ Extensive practice and exam preparation Learn the concepts. Apply the chemistry. Prepare for success.

I am an experienced Chemistry and Biology tutor with almost four years of teaching experience, including online teaching, with a strong focus on helping students turn difficult scientific concepts into clear, understandable, and practical knowledge. I have taught students across different international curricula and grade levels, including secondary and senior-secondary students, and I particularly enjoy working with learners who need concepts explained in a structured, visual, and step-by-step way. My teaching style is student-centred, concept-driven, interactive, and assessment-focused. I begin by identifying what a student already understands, address misconceptions, and then build new concepts progressively through explanations, diagrams, worked examples, questioning, practical applications, and exam-style problems. I use a combination of formative assessment, retrieval practice, targeted questioning, problem-solving, feedback, and summative exam preparation so students are not only able to recall information but can apply it confidently. I am interested in teaching Chemistry, Biology, General Science, and Junior Science, particularly for students in middle school through senior secondary levels. My lessons can be adapted for students who need foundational support as well as students preparing for demanding school and final examinations. I am also familiar with adapting instruction to the different expectations of Canada's major provincial curriculum systems: Ontario Curriculum (OSSD): I use clear learning expectations, ongoing and varied assessment, feedback, independent problem-solving, and exam preparation, while helping students demonstrate both knowledge and application. Ontario's current secondary assessment requirements also place greater emphasis on written final examinations from the 2026–27 school year. British Columbia Curriculum: I emphasize conceptual understanding, inquiry, critical thinking, communication, and competency development. My feedb
